This summer has been eventful. We took trips to Jackson Hole, Wyoming; Grand Teton, Arches & Canyonlands National Parks; Knoxville, Tennessee and Phoenix, Arizona. Nathaniel had his first birthday party(s) in July. We had one in Tennesse and one in Utah, so he basically had two.
We're doing great. Nycole has been working part time at the Primary Children's Hospital ICU, and Jason has been working at ADP in their health benefits department. Nycole loves her job and enjoys working with children.
Nathaniel wears us out. He is now walking and starting to climb things. He has a lot of energy and likes to push buttons. For some reason he is obsessed with the smoke detectors. He's always pointing at them and saying, "dat." He also says "ma" and "da."
We have enjoyed our time in Utah the last two years with Jason's family. We had fun camping, hiking and visiting all the national parks out here in the west. However, we are moving to Tennessee on October 18th. Nycole's family lives there and Nathaniel will have some cousins his age. We will be close to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and will have a lot of recreational activities near by. Plus we'll be 6 hours from the South Carolina beaches, and apparently they surf there.
