Fall

We're glad it's finally fall. This summer was brutal. It was one of the hottest on record here in East Tennessee. Now we can sit outside comfortably and not feel like we're on a sweat house. Cassandra is beginning to eat solids, but it's still mostly milk. She isn't crawling yet, but she'll get there. Nathaniel will be a Sunbeam in January, which is crazy to think about. We remember when we first took him to nursery and how hard it was for him at first.

Jason has a lot of plans for the back yard. We have one of those metal fire bowls from Lowe's. He wants to build a stone base around it and put a little patio down by the trees. Then maybe put a couple of benches and we'll have our own little place to make smores.

Karin, Jeff and their family will be here next month to visit along with Grandma Linda and Craig. It will be nice to have some family in town. Anybody is welcome to visit anytime. We have the Great Smoky Mountain National Park nearby, and several other touristy things to see.
