A couple of things have happened since the last time we updated this blog. Jason found a job with Comcast Cable. The position is in their accounting department, but it's not as an accountant. It is related to customer payment issues and managing adjustments on their accounts. One perk is free internet and cable.

Nathaniel has really hit a growth spurt in terms of his vocabulary. It has increased dramatically and he's starting to put two or three words together. He keeps surprising us with all these new words he keeps saying. His pronunciation is good for most words, but is still coming along for others. Tooth brush sounds more like poop brush, and he pronounces cereal something like cerckelt.

It has been a wet winter here in East Tennessee. It rained about 8 inches in December and around 7 inches in January. It's much different than the 1 1/2 to 2 inch average of precipitation for Salt Lake during the same period. We tried skiing in Gatlinburg a few months ago and it took about 3o seconds for Jason to get to the bottom.

We have decided not to participate in the recession and we will be buying a house later this summer :) We figure now is the time to buy with interests rates so low, cheaper houses and IRS tax credits for first time home buyers. We're excited and it will be good to get our own place.

In July we'll be at the Fitt family reunion in Utah. We're excited to see everybody. Nathaniel will love to see the family and play with cousins. We miss everybody and wish we could all live closer.
