Purchasing a home

We are having a good time in Tennessee. We did a little camping a few weeks ago and Nathaniel did very well. We also teach the Sunbeams in primary. We have 5 little boys around 3-4 years old. They like to be loud, rough and sometimes hit each other. We're always telling them to keep their hands to themselves and separating them.

We have been looking at houses for the last few weeks. We found one that we really liked near Kay's brother. It was a for-sale-by-owner and the guy didn't want to go through our realtor or work with us on the price or closing costs. So, we kept looking and found a home in a new subdivision where they just started to build again. The frame is up and the brick has been delivered. It is 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bath. We put an offer on it and it has been accepted. Closing is set for August 31, so we plan on moving in the first part of September.

Here's what it looks like so far. We'll be meeting with the designer soon to pick out the flooring, cabinets, etc. We're excited. The house is actually the next subdivision over from Nycole's parent's house. So, we're pretty close to them. The area is 15 minutes from downtown Knoxville.
